## Questions, answered

**How much is a ticket?**
General admission is €14,50 online and €16,00 at the door. Children aged 5 to 12 pay €8,00 online and €10,00 at the door; under 5 go free. Booking online saves €1,50 and skips the queue at busy times. Tickets are non-refundable, but they are valid on any day for 12 months from purchase. This is a trick-art museum: more than 30 hand-painted 3D murals you step into and photograph yourself inside.

**Can I visit both museums with one ticket?**
Yes. The Duo Fun ticket costs €29,00 instead of €40,00 bought separately and covers our Museum of Illusions at Carrer del Pintor Fortuny 17 plus all 8 themed museums of the Big Fun Museum at La Rambla 88-94, nine in total. You get one mobile ticket that is scanned at each museum, and you do not have to visit them on the same day. The Big Fun Pass alone is €25,50.

**What are the opening hours?**
We're open Monday to Thursday and Sunday 11:00–19:00, and Friday and Saturday 11:00–21:00, with last entry 30 minutes before closing. Your ticket is valid at any time during opening hours: there are no time slots to choose. We're open every day of the year, including 25 December and 1 January.

**How long does the visit take?**
Most guests spend 30–45 minutes inside. There's no time limit on your ticket – stay as long as you want during opening hours.

**Is it suitable for children?**
Absolutely. Children under 5 enter free. The exhibits are family-friendly with no scary, violent or graphic content – expect Shrek, Hulk, Minions, dragons and the Ninja Turtles painted across full-room murals. Older kids and teens love it the most.

**Can I take photos?**
That's the whole point. Every wall is built to be photographed. Bring your phone, your camera and your friends – selfie sticks are welcome. Tag #MuseumOfIllusionsBCN and we may repost.

**How do I get there from Plaça de Catalunya?**
From Plaça de Catalunya, walk down La Rambla and take the 2nd right onto Carrer del Pintor Fortuny. We're at number 17, on your left. About 5 minutes on foot. Closest metro: L1 / L3 Catalunya (300 m) or L3 Liceu (250 m).

**Can I buy tickets at the door?**
Yes – but online booking guarantees entry on busy days, especially July, August and the Christmas / Easter holidays. Online tickets also save the queue at peak hours.

**Is the museum wheelchair accessible?**
The museum is mostly accessible on one level. If you have specific access requirements, please email es@agmo.cat before visiting so we can prepare your visit.

**Do you offer group rates for schools or tour operators?**
Yes. Schools, summer camps, corporate teams and tour operators can book reserved weekday slots with group discounts. Email es@agmo.cat for rates and availability.

**Do you accept Bizum, Apple Pay or Google Pay?**
Yes – all major card networks plus Bizum, Apple Pay and Google Pay are accepted at our secure Stripe checkout. You can also book through our partner BigFun Museum. Walk-in payments at the entrance accept card and Bizum.

**When is the museum quietest?**
Right after we open at 11:00, and in the last two hours before closing. The busiest stretch is mid-afternoon, roughly 14:00 to 18:00, and weekends and rainy days are busier than weekdays. Your ticket has no time slot, so you can come whenever suits you.

**Is there a photographer, or will staff take my photo?**
No. There are no staff in the exhibition rooms – only a cashier at the entrance. You take your own photos, and that is the point: every wall is painted to be photographed from a particular spot. Come with a friend, or borrow one of our free phone tripods at the cash desk, subject to availability. Your own selfie stick or small tripod is welcome too.

**Can I borrow a tripod?**
Yes, for free. We lend phone tripods at the cash desk to solo visitors and groups alike, subject to availability. Ask for one when you arrive, use it in the rooms and hand it back on your way out.

**Are you the same place as the Big Fun Museum?**
No – we are two separate museums. Museum of Illusions Barcelona is at Carrer del Pintor Fortuny 17; the Big Fun Museum is at La Rambla 88-94, about five minutes away on foot. The Duo Fun ticket covers both: our museum plus all 8 Big Fun museums, nine in total, for €29,00.

**About the name:** Museum of Illusions Barcelona is an independent 3D trick-art museum at Carrer del Pintor Fortuny 17. It is not affiliated with the global "Museum of Illusions"® franchise chain (museumofillusions.com), and it is a separate venue from the Big Fun Museum on Rambla de Sant Josep.
